Application Forms and Instructions

violinStudent Applications Please print and complete all portions of the Student Application form (click here) and mail it to the address below together with appropriate application fee. An incomplete application will not be accepted. Acceptance is based on instrumentation and is on a first come, first served basis. All applicants will receive notification of acceptance into MITC. An additional mailing will notify you of specific audition times and requirements for your particular instrument. If the program is full, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list until July 10, 2010. If no space becomes available by that time, you will be notified and your application fee refunded.

Intern Applications Please print and complete all portions of the Intern Application form (click here) and mail it to the address below. An incomplete application will not be accepted. Interns will be notified of their acceptance after May 15. Applications received after May 1 will only be considered if a position is not already filled. Special consideration is given to MITC intern applicants who will also attend Marrowstone Summer Music.

Intern applicants must enclose an up-to-date, one-page musical resume, and a letter of recommendation from an adult friend or music teacher familiar with the applicant. If the recommendation is enclosed with the application please ensure that the person making the recommendation has sealed it in an envelope and signed it on the fold. Recommendations may also be sent directly to the Marrowstone office by the person making the recommendation.
