Marrowstone Festival Orchestra concerts brim with excitement as talented young musicians from all over the country perform challenging orchestral masterpieces. The future of music comes alive with virtuosic orchestral performances.
Thursdays, July 29 and August 5 at 7:30 p.m.
The Marrowstone Festival Faculty Chamber Players reads like a veritable “who’s who” of American’s most distinguished orchestral and chamber groups. Members of the Boston, Chicago and Seattle Symphony Orchestras are represented, as are musicians from the Interlochen Arts Academy and Santa Barbara Opera, and internationally acclaimed teachers, conductors and soloists. These distinguished musicians join together on Thursday evenings for some of the finest chamber music performances in the Pacific Northwest. Internationally acclaimed artists perform works by Brahms, Haydn, Beethoven, Prokofieff and more.
Saturdays, July 31 and August 7 at 7:30 p.m.
The most outstanding student musicians accompany members of our distinguished faculty in performances of concerti, symphonies and solo works on Saturday evenings. Under the baton of Music Director Stephen Rogers Radcliffe these young virtuosi are joined by world-class soloists.
Deepen your appreciation of the Marrowstone experience by attending our Thursday morning open rehearsals. These exclusive events are open to the public free of charge but reservations are required. These Friday evening performances are filled with fun and excitement as Marrowstone students perform works from the chamber repertoire under the supervision of our distinguished faculty. The concert is free and open to the public.

The warm afternoon sun mixes with cool sea breezes as musicians from Marrowstone gather for our weekly, free open-air performances on Fairhaven Green each Friday afternoon. From Bach to the Beatles, our distinguished students, fellows and faculty perform popular classics from the wind and brass ensemble repertoire.
